About Me, Autistic Sighentist.
I am a multidisciplinary published researcher that focuses on medicine, medical law, and ethics. Some examples of my peer reviewed work can be found in places like Taylor & Francis and the Journal of Legal Medicine.
My current objective is advocating for further education to be considered for those looking to support Neurodiverse populations; namely professionals, parents, and other Neurodivergent individuals.
I have a mixed neurotype and am a part time AAC user. I am also a Donor Conceived Person. I am currently developing further explanation of what is mentioned above and will add those resources here when released.
Though actively in burnout, I volunteer my time providing freelance education whenever possible.

My Journey
Prior to knowing that I am Autistic, I already had the experiences of being a one-on-one caregiver for disabled individuals, a school tutor that worked with disabled students, a camp counselor to disabled campers, and even aimed a pageant platform towards disability empowerment.
Now that I know I’m Autistic, I realize that not only what drove me was an inherent first hand understanding that I, like so many others around me, am living in a world that doesn’t afford support and workable, fair structure to those who need it.
A lot of what I did before I would have approached completely differently given all that I have now learned and experienced through connecting with people who have been othered.
There were so many things I did not know then that may have been more oppressive than helpful overall. I have learned and continue to learn from my experiences, my mistakes, and through education.
Now that I know better, I strive to do better. I recognize that there may still be things I don’t know and am always open to learning how I can be an even better advocate.
“About me” pages tend to be difficult for me. I plan to come back here and expand this as I learn what parts of my story will help others relate and understand where I come from.
